Cut Above Productions has the facilities to produce a number of high quality television commercials. Whether it be a basic shoot and edit or a hi-tech motion graphics, we will get the job done on time every time!

We also offer freelance camera & editing services to television stations across the country. All of our camera operators/editors have had years of experience working in the television industry. Here are just some examples of videos we have produced recently.

Xceler8 Fitness Centre employed Cut Above Productions to produce a TV Commercial for their upcoming weightloss and Fitness Competition. We wanted it to look fun & energetic so we used their corporate colours and silhouettes to achieve the end result.

 

Boggy Creek Shows are based in Tumbarumba NSW. They are a unique show with well trained farm animals. We were asked to produce a TV Commercial using the animals. This is what we came up with.

 

Project Paintball asked Cut Above Productions to produce a TV Commercial for them. We wanted the ad to get right in amongst the action, rather than shooting it from a distance. (We did manage to take a paintball hit to the side of the camera though - luckily no damage was done). We have grunged this ad up with the use of textures & paintsplats.

 

Riverina Marine Centre came to us with a bunch of footage and a 1 day deadline. This is what we were able to come up with in a matter of hours.

 

Here is a TV Commercial for some new local markets. Again, we were given a bunch of photos and some info and asked to make an ad. Rather than just having the images on screen with some text we wanted to style it up a bit and make it more polished.

 

Michael O'Reilly Pharmacy are now incorporating a Tony Ferguson Weightloss Centre, who are a national company. We were asked to produce a local TV Commercial while keeping the same look and feel as the national campaign.

 

The guys from Rockview Estate supplied us with a bunch of photos and some info and asked us to put a TV commercial together for them. This is the end result.

 

Phoenix Accounting wanted a simple logo and text TV Commercial. We didn't want it to be a plain boring screen so we added out creative touch. Still a basic TV Commercial but quite effective.

 

GWS Personnel asked Cut Above Productions to produce a kinetic style TV Commercial to incorporate text and stock images. This style of commercial is becoming more & more popular in modern advertising.

 

Jupiter Motors asked Cut Above Production to produce a TV Commercial for their End of Financial Year Sale. they wanted to use product footage from existing DVD's but make them more interesting. The ad was to sound urgent & strong while maintaining class. this is what we came up with. 

 

This is the second in a series of ads for a local jewellery store. Epica Jewellers employed Cut Above Productions to produce a classy ad to promote their retail line of jewellery. They wanted the ad to look different to the typical jewellers ads which just use still shots. Here is the end result.

 

Bromac Engineering Supplies have employed Cut Above Productions to make them a new 30 second TV Commercial. This is what we have come up with so far.

 

Fitzpatricks Real Estate employed Cut Above Productions to produce a TV Commercial to promote their new website and iPhone app. This is the end result!


This is the first in a series of ads for a local jewellery store. Epica Jewellers employed Cut Above Productions to produce a classy ad to promote their retail line of jewellery. They wanted the ad to look different to the typical jewellers ads which just use still shots. Here is the end result.

 

This is the first in a series of weekly TV commercials for Jupiter Motors. They wanted to produce an ad for their weekly used car specials but they wanted to stand out from the other car yards in Wagga and do something different.

 

Foodworks asked if we could make an ad that matched their print brochures. This was the end result after hours of photoshop preparing the images to be edited into the TV Commercial.

 

This is the 30 second version of a TV Commercial we produced for Hurst Homes. We are always looking to try new and exciting methods of getting your message across and to make viewers remember it.

 

Hurst Homes wanted to create something really different that people would really remember. This will be used for cinema advertising as well as on local television stations.

 

Here a TV commercial we produced for Carlyle Suites & Apartments.

 

Some file footage taken from the recent floods in Wagga Wagga. The river got close to 9m high, this was the 3rd time this year that the river has risen due to constant rain.

 

The first in a series of 2 TV commercials for Remax. The brief was to make something high impact that would stay in peoples minds. We only had 15 seconds to work with and needed to get every real estate agent into the ad. no voiceover, just music.

 

WIT Media, also located at Creative place, employed Cut Above Productions to produce their first TV commercial. We wanted to use kinetic text animation which was a learning curve for us. Came out quite good I think!

 

Karizma Hair & Beauté wanted a trendy & upbeat commercial while showing all of their staff and the services they offer. We only had a 15 second timeframe to stick to so we had to make the edits sharp and punchy.

 

This is a simple yet effective style of commercial. The client simply wanted to use a shot of the building and voiceover to familiarise viewers with their location. We jazzed it up a little with some graphics to emphasise the key points. Sometimes people watch television with the volume down so your visuals also need to portray all of the relevant information.

 

Fitzpatricks Real Estate are running a series of TV commercials in the local news each Friday night. The ad is to show some of the open houses they have coming up each weekend. We produced a template which involves shooting the agent in front of a green screen each week. It also requires the house images and text to be updated each week. the overall layout will remain the same. Setting up a template like this is a cost effective way of producing regular commercials.

 

Foodworks are running a "Meal of the Week" campaign which involves a new meal to be advertised each week. To help reduce costs, we produced a template which involves simply replacing the meal image each week.

 

Morgan Street Cycles gave us a product DVD and asked us to use it to make a 30 second TV. Here is the result thanks to work experience student Isaac Conyers.

 

Leading Edge Electronics 5th birthday sale 15 second TV commercial. This ad needed to include as much product as possible into the 15 second time slot. It also needed to let people know it was the stores 5th birthday.


Modern Primitive Piercing Studio wanted to get the message across to parents that they are a professional business who cares about hygiene. This is an example of a simple TV commercial which is quite effective.

 

UFC fighter Anthony Perosh made a brief stopover in Wagga Wagga earlier this year. During his visit he was recruited by his sponsor Sinister Store to be a part of a TV Commercial. The ad has been getting airtime on ONE HD during UFC fights.

 

Myriad Martial Arts Festival 2010 have employed Cut Above Productions to produce a 30 second and a 15 second Television Commercial. Cut Above Productions are also a Blue Belt sponsor of the event. Here is the 30 second ad.

 

This is a commercial produced for Claas Harvest Centre. It was to be played at the Holbrook Races which Claas were a major sponsor.

 

This is some footage taken for Channel 10 on Monday 8th March 2010. The Murrumbidgee River rose from 0.8 - 5 Metres over the weekend.

This was an old Uni project that I thought i'd post. Not the best quality but it shows the use of a simple yet clever effect.
